FORMS OF PRESENCE

Split’s edition of Forms of Presence features nine Croatian artists from the European cooperation project Professional Media Presence. While their practices vary — spanning traditional, expanded, and new media — the exhibition narrative organically links them through vulnerability as a common denominator of existence. Starting from the notion of a body as a primary psychological archive and navigating it’s temporality, these artists explore the notion of the presence as a fluid, performative process.
